Equipment/Car Hauler
Car haulers are an open deck trailer where the deck sits low between the fenders. They are usually equipped with tandem axles and electric brakes. Vehicle loading is usually accommodated by some sort of slide out or stand up ramps at the rear of the trailer. Because they are usually equipped with ramps, any powered equipment or vehicle such as lawn equipment, ATV’s, cars and even full size trucks, can be easily hauled on a trailer of this type if properly sized.
An equipment hauler is a type of trailer that is designed to haul heavy equipment, such as tractors, skid steers and mini excavators, backhoes, and excavators. They are constructed very similarly to car haulers but with heavier frames and running gear to accommodate heavier loads. Equipment haulers are available in a variety of sizes, including large enough to haul cars.
